I spent a lifetime (my lifetime) being bound by what other people thought of me. I kept my dreams to myself for fear of what others would say if I dared to share them out loud. I knew I had potential to be more, I knew down deep in my soul I was created to BE more, but I was afraid of what that would mean for the safe little world I had created for myself, so I believed the lie that I wasn’t good enough. I was afraid that if I allowed my light to shine to its full brightness, others would shy away from that light and from me. I was afraid if I tried, I would fail and prove I wasn’t worthy, so it was safer to not try.
But here’s the deal: I was created to BE that light, not just for myself but for countless others as well.
I finally decided my happiness and fulfillment could no longer be stifled by what others thought, or what I perceived their thoughts to be. I could no longer live my life just to make others happy. I needed to dig deep, focus on the desires of my heart, and create the life I deserved. I needed to love myself more than the approval of others. I needed to accept, appreciate, and celebrate the woman God created in me, and fulfill my purpose of leading other women to that same discovery within themselves.
My journey has not been an easy one, but it’s helped me to understand my purpose and to become the woman I was created to be. I’m grateful for all the lessons have shown me the path to fulfill my dreams. They have equipped me with knowledge, experience, and most of all, the power to change my reality.
Through those lessons, I’ve developed a three-step process to help you get rid of your garbage and step into your greatness. This is the same three-step process that I used to help me break out of the world of wishing my dreams would come true and take the necessary action to create the life I deserve.
You are the only thing standing between who you are and who you were created to be. Get rid of your garbage and step into your greatness!
